From JR Kyoto Station
This is the arrival station for the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen.
- Take Kyoto City Bus No. 206 toward Gion and Kiyomizu-dera, and get off at Kyodai Seimon-mae or Hyakumanben.
- Alternatively, take Kyoto City Bus No. 7 toward Ginkakuji, and get off at Hyakumanben.
- The bus journey takes about 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Please allow extra time during busy periods.
From Kansai International Airport (KIX)
Travel first to JR Kyoto Station, then follow the directions from Kyoto Station shown here.
- The JR-West Kansai-Airport Express HARUKA provides direct train service to Kyoto Station.
- Airport limousine buses also operate between KIX and Kyoto Station.

From Keihan Demachiyanagi Station
The venue is approximately a 20-minute walk from Demachiyanagi Station.
Accommodation
Participants are kindly requested to arrange and pay for their own accommodation. The organizing committee will not make hotel reservations on behalf of participants.
The workshop will be held at Kyoto University’s Yoshida Campus. It is not necessary to stay close to the campus: hotels in central Kyoto, including the areas around Kyoto Station, Shijo–Karasuma, Kawaramachi, and Sanjo, offer convenient access to the venue by public transportation or taxi.
As accommodation in Kyoto can become fully booked, especially during busy travel periods, we recommend making a reservation well in advance.
